Entertainment Weekly has unveiled an exclusive first look at Mortal Kombat 2, giving fans a glimpse of Karl Urban as Johnny Cage. The highly anticipated sequel will introduce new characters, including Adeline Rudolph as Kitana and Martyn Ford as Shao Kahn, alongside returning cast members like Lewis Tan and Hiroyuki Sanada.
Directed by Simon McQuoid, Mortal Kombat 2 promises to deliver intense action and gripping fight sequences, building on the success of the 2021 reboot. The film is scheduled for a theatrical and IMAX release on October 24, 2025.
